I plan and facilitate bi-weekly meetings and am in charge of getting professionals from the area to attend and speak at our events. I am also in charge of planning group events for PRSSA National Conference in Austin, TX. This year I competed on a team of five in the 2018 PRSSA Bateman Case-Study Competition and won second place out of 84 teams in the nation.

I ran the School of Journalism and Mass Communication's diversity and inclusion student board by planning the semesterly school-wide conversations, leading the bi-weekly meetings and delegating tasks to my executive board members and their committees. Conversation topics included politics in the media and the opioid epidemic.

I conducted interviews and wrote articles for my beat, mostly by covering news and events within the Colleges of Nursing and Public Health. I  had 13 articles published during the Spring 2017 Semester.
